Hi, we're Luciano, Valerio and Alfio. When you arrive, we want Palermo to feel like home right away: we message you on WhatsApp before you get here, we gift you our digital guide with the most loved spots in the historic centre, selected by us, and we stay one message away for your whole stay. We care for our two residences like our own homes — because to us, hosting you is exactly that.

The team
We are Luciano, Valerio and Alfio: Sicilians with years of experience in non-hotel hospitality. Open Sicily was born to let you live Palermo from the inside, in apartments we have cared for one by one in the old town.
No anonymous front desks: the guest comes first. We welcome you with keyless self check-in, you can reach us on WhatsApp whenever you need, and we step in directly, because Palermo is our home. In 2022 we restored the Residence Guascone building, dating from the early 1600s, bringing its marble staircase and carved wooden ceilings back to life.
